DOCTORATE IN OPTICAL ENGINEERING
The main objective of the Optical Engineering interdepartmental doctorate program is to provide training that will lead to a doctorate degree. It is intended for both Spanish and foreign students that hold a degree in the field of optics.
The Doctorate in Optical Engineering has been evolving since it was first introduced. It has been awarded the Quality Award every year since 2003.
The course is organized into a set of subjects that are focused on basic training and research. These subjects are included in the Interuniversity Master's Degree in Photonics (see Course section). The students can carry out their doctoral thesis in different thematic areas of the Optics in which the different research groups of the Program are specialized: GOAPI, CD6, DONLL and TIEG.
