UNIVERSITY MASTER IN OPTOMETRY AND VISION SCIENCES

The Master’s Degree in Optometry and Vision Sciences (MUOCV) provides students with high level training so they can specialize in the professional areas inherent to optics and optometry: Cornea and contact lenses, pediatric optometry, vision therapy, geriatric optometry, low vision and optometric aspects of refractive surgery, amongst others. The course also prepares students to take on research tasks in the field of vision sciences and applied clinical research. The course is imparted on a mixed learning basis with the objective of training students as specialized professionals and researchers.
